Any input as to whether Coralife T5 bulbs are any good and who makes them?
Thanks
This is a random guess but being branded i would assume coralife makes them.
Light is light but if you want a decent par rating go with those ATI bulbs!
B+, B+, AB special, maybe another B+!!!

I used to use them a few years back. I would say they are about equal with bulbs that come in fixtures, fine for fish and some corals but I personally don't use them anymore. The petco near me sells the coralife bulbs for around $22 a piece and my local reef stores sell ATI for $34. It runs me $48 dollars more when I replace my bulbs now but my corals definately have shown major improvement in color, polyp extension, and growth.

Crooked, where do you live? That price is $12 more than what I pay.
Yeah they are like 22 online.

St. Louis. I could probably get them cheaper online but don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping considering the quality of the packages I get after they go through whatever ups, fedex, and usps does to them. That and if I get a bad bulb I can just take it back and switch it out. They may be closer to $30 though now that I think of it. Everytime I buy them I buy a bunch of stuff anyway.
