Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to remove coraline algae from my overflows. I'm selling the tank, so I'm trying to make it look bright and shiny. It's currently broken down, and I'm scraping, spraying with vinegar, letting it sit, then spraying with the jet setting on the hose and repeating. Is there a better way? I'm making headway, but slowly.

I just use a razor blade and this is with my wall encrusted and full of water it comes off pretty easy for me

This is very heavy stuff- can you muriatic and not damage the tank? It's not on the glass, it's on the overflows.

I do it in my overflows too Maybe lay the tank on its side soak some clothes in vinegar and lay that over the overflows for a hour then try scraping

FWIW, if I were buying tank, I'd want the coralline on the overflows.
