I have a purple tang in a 225 gallon tank.Would it be possible to add another purple and 2 yellow tangs and a chevron?

If it's already an established dominant fish, then you are most likely out of luck.

You MAY be able to do it if you catch the purple and get the other 3 zebrasoma tangs the same size as your current purple, rearrange the rock work it MAY be possible but you better have a plan B if it doesn't. They should be the only fish other than a wrasse or other small fish, also they will get more agressive the larger they get

IMO, a dominant fish like the Purple tang is usually the last fish added to a tank. You do have a lot of room with 200+ gallons, but there is always gonna be some sort of risk since you don't know just how big of the 220g the PT considers to be his.

I recently added powder brown to my 300 fo which had a sailfin, shoulder tang, and kole tang. The Kole tang was in full attack. I removed the kole tang and put him in sump for about a month then put him back in dt. Everyone is friends now.
