Bubble King Supermarin 200 Internal Protein Skimmer

Hi,

Since this skimmer allow the pump to be mounted on 2 sides (either side) for better sump placement. Could I use 2 pumps (one on each side) to increase it efficiency?

Bubble makes a top of the line skimmer and they are engineered / designed to get the best performance using what they specify. Imho I think trying to add a second pump would add way too much turbulence to the water and cause it to actually be less efficient. But then again that's just my opinion. You could probably ask at a place that sells them.

I would expect that skimmer to be perfect the way it is. It's not a large skimmer. I would expect it to overflow continuously with 2 pumps. If you want more skimming ability than you have you should consider a larger skimmer.

No need for another pump. When I had mine it was pulling up to 1900l/h air per hour. Any more than that you might be asking for problems. It has plenty of air and water flow for that volume of skimmer.
