Hi there,
I had a pair of clown fish, over a year old. Unfortunately one was attacked by my red spotted blenny and as much as I hoped it survived, it did not. Very sad as the other one was always standing guard til the last moment. The other half (smaller and male) has not been eating since, it has been several days. It will come to the front of the tank during feeding time and look at the food floating, but not even take a bite. Im getting really concerned. Clowns are usually strong eaters so I don't know what is wrong. Is is just the case of him missing the partners? should I introduce another clown, hoping they become friends and will start eating?
I dont want to lose this little guy. They were my first salt water fish.
