I've had two of these for...6 months now. They seem to work great for me. I have mostly soft and LPS, but also BTAs and a few SPS. Everything seems happy with them. I also find their build quality to be quite above average.

Roger that!

Great to hear! I agree with the build quality. They're built like a tank, and very bright too.

First impression was....wow for $98 shipped and built like this, how are they making money.?

I would pay $250-$300 and feel good about it.

This is running at 25% so you guys can see it. Otherwise...Way too bright!

Ok well it looks like I'll be ordering one. Went up to my lfs today and they had a coupel over their tanks. They call them "black box leds".

I have one of these without the lenses, it's a great light. If you don't plan on mounting this high above the tank, then get one without lenses. I have mine in a canopy and the light is about 2" above the water, so lenses wouldn't give me adequate spread.

I had lenses on mine and manually removed them, it wasn't too difficult. They were held on by two drops of silicone each. Much better light spread without the lenses
