I recently order some calcium/alkalinity test kit refills. The syringes look different and there is no tips that came with the refills. Do the new syringes not use the tip? There was nothing on the box that would tell me one way or the other.
Thanks!

They do use the tip. You need to reuse the tips you were using before.

But the tip doesn't sit fully on the new syringe causing the syringe to not insert into the titrator all the way. (?)
I guess that's ok?

Something seems wrong there. The tip should seat fully on the syringe.

I would use the old syringes, but the lines are worn off. I can't read the measurements. That was one of the good things about when you order reagent, they send new syringes. I sent an email to Red Sea. Let's see what they say.

Well, I got a quick response from Red Sea and I was suppose to get new tips with the new syringes and they will send them right out to me. All I had to do was give them name, address and phone number.
This quick response impresses me that a big company like Red Sea does care about their customer base and will quickly fix a problem.
+1 for Red Sea.
