Will zooxanthellae return?

A couple weeks ago one of my star polyp colonies started to close up, the entire colony stayed completely closed for over 2 weeks before I finally found the culprit was a huge bristle worm living in the base and apparently irritating it. I was able to pull the rock out and remove the worm with tweezers, 3 days later it started opening back up but it has lost all its color. This colony use to be a very vibrant green before it closed. I assume it expelled it's zooxanthellae so my question is will this colony be able to recover and re-gain its color?

Anything I should be doing to help it?

it will come back over time..only thing you can do i keep your water parameters stable.
