View Full Version : White around clownfish mouth?

My father in laws tank has an issue. One of his osc. Clownfish has developed a growth around its mouth. Nothing new into the tank. Clownfish are about 6 to 7 years old.

Being you say it's a "growth", and not scarring from damage or a sting... I would QT & treat with antibiotics if it were my fish. Bacterial infection would be my "best guess", but I am in no way 100% certain of it.
Whatever it is, it might clear on it's own... it might not.

Ha, considering its the male, I may be a little concerned! He is still eating and it appears as though it is getting better.
