It has 5% acidity so it will do it. It will help to slightly warm the vinegar.

You mean i have to warm the vinegar before mix with water

Or heat the mix of water and vinegar. Heating it helps it work faster. You don't want it so hot it melts plastic.

FWIW I dissemble my pumps to clean them, it allows me to check for wear and to ensure they are really clean.

The same way you know it is dirty. Remove the Coraline, the gunk, inspect it for wear or fault and put it back together. I would also suggest regular white vinegar, it is cheap and doesn't have the pulp you usually find in apple cider.
