What do you prefer?
200, 300, etc. ?
Thanks :fish1:
200 felt are great imo. 7"x14" and swap them out 2½ times weekly.

I use the BRS felt 200 micron socks with the plastic ring, I have 8 socks that I change out every 2-3 days. When I am on the last clean sock I run all the dirty socks through the washing machine ( do not use any soap)

I've been using felt 200 M for years.. Just recently swapped to 300m plastic mesh that I put poly fill in before adding them. The mesh are way easier to clean and the poly filter is about $6 for a years worth at your local craft store. I just remove them, toss the poly and rinse the socks in the sink. Very quick and I haven't noticed any negatives on water quality since the swaps have a total of 8 so swapping is easy..
I get all the benefits of the felt with the poly inside the mesh and none of the negatives like having to use the washing machine and bleach..

That sounds like a good way to go.

It's just standard polyester stuffing.. Like for stuffed animals etc.. Make sure it doesn't say fire retardant or any additives just polyester.. I got a large size bag of it for $6 enough for probably 200 filter sock refills at least..
