Never once, in my life, have I ever seen a clown fish eat algae, but ok. Seems strange they would include that in a CUC package. :strange:

Otherwise, seems like a reasonable deal. I know the LFS around me has False Percs for 40 bucks alone.

I would make sure thats the clownfish I would want. I may be wrong but they are the least aggressive. Some people prefer other clowns.

Yes I really want the clownfish actually I want 2 of them. Most sites I have read said to add 2 together. Would it be ok to add one now and add one in a few weeks? Being a newly cycled tank I don't to over load it.

I wouldn't buy a cuc that contains fish and coral. A good cuc that contains a diverse variety of snails would be the best option for starting out. I would avoid hermit crabs, they will eat your snails.

You should wait until after you have your cuc in the tank for 2 weeks or so until you add fish. A pair of clowns to start would be a good choice.

$45 for a false perc! $10 - 15 around here.

Take a look at Reef cleaners. I have always had good luck with them.

It depends on what kind of corals you eventually want. Peppermint shrimp and hermit crabs aren't always reef safe. Personally, I'm going all snails with my CUC.
