Hello, I know Snorvich is great at commenting on compatibility, but he does not make fish recommendations, and I understand his position. I was hoping you all could help me fill any "category gaps" I may be overlooking.

DT is 180g with 150lbs dry rock, 5 lbs live rock, and 2" live sand bed. Sump is a 75g tank, with a 32g refugium chamber that has 5" DSB. I do plan to have corals in the future once things mature. Finally, I have 20g long QT. My fish wish list is below:

2 orange ocellaris clowns (Just completed TTM, in QT right now)

Looking at:
1 yellow tang
1 powder blue tang
1 dwarf flame angel
1 Goby (Thinking orange spotted, diamond watchman, or orange stripe prawn)
1 shrimp to pair with Goby (species undetermined at this point)

I think i have room for more. Any other categories you think I should consider, or should I stop with this list?

Thanks in advance, ZB.

you could get away with a couple (like 2-3) wrasse or a small group of anthias...

Nice selection. If you plan more fish after your list, make sure your skimmer can handle the bioload. Check out live aquaria for the different types of fish available and they will have info regarding reef safe fishes and compatability.

You already have three kinds of fish that are going to fight for territory (2 tangs and a clown pair) so don't add any more of those for sure. Look for species which say 'Peaceful'. Anthias are really not beginner fish IMO.

Thanks everyone. I'm familiar with LA, and have done a lot of research there. I was looking for guidance on categories to narrow down my choices. Thanks for the guidacne on the "peaceful" description. That helps.

If anyone else has thoughts, I'm all ears.
