I would have liked to find one a little smaller - but this guy picked me in the store. Came right to the front of the glass - was swimming and eating well and once it went into the DT - it fit right in. I was a little concerned about the cleaner shrimp (becoming a snack) but so far so good - he eats well and takes the silversides out of my hand!

Mine was my last addition. He's pretty big& has done great, & I even saw my skunk cleaner shrimp cleaning him. Also have some snails crabs, fire shrimp, coral banned shrimp, clams... no issues with anything.

My BT was in the tank about a month now - ate from day one - WITH NO ISSUE. Now has not eaten in two days. No sign of anything on him. Ideas? I even put the silverside right in his face - not even a nibble.

Try clam on half shell and trigger formula frozen. If those don't work, get live ghost shrimps.

I feed my BT M+F pair LRS frozen food. They love that stuff, lots of meats in there for them.
