Algae ID please

This algae grows near the overflow and return and is starting to grow on my rocks and back glass. I have never seen it before. It is thick and kind of looks like uneaten pellet food.

Looks like diatoms to me, can't see the pik to well though, its stretched. How old is the tank?

Yea I'd say diatoms, possibly cyano but it's really difficult to tell in that photo.

Looks lile cyano. Maybe take a picture with your whites on.

There's definately cyano and I'm working on that but there's the other algae I have never seen before. I'll try to get a better picture today
