Well, Ive been doing this for years and this is the first time I've had this happen. Came home the other day found my AC off and the heat index outside was 105. Tank was 91. After fixing the AC the result was many lost corals that we've had for 10 years plus. There's some x-large toadstools that are still large, but sagging with polyps partially extended. Any thoughts? Fish survived as did a large clam. AC has been on for two days now and tank is 80.

Lots of water changes. The dead tissue from the dying corals can cause ammonia spikes making a bad situation worse. Very sorry about the loss its hard especially when you have had a lot of those pieces for 10+ years.

Thanks. Had a large bacterial bloom, cloudy, buts gone now. Had just done a large PWC days before and some new media. Lots of clean-up now. Drag
