I've had a Deresa clam for about a month now and in the last couple of days I noticed that it has a hole that is growing slightly larger every couple of days. The clam doesn't look healthy at all.

Are some of my hermits (red and blue legged) or emerald or nassarius snails bothering it.

I also have a baby blue tang, sixline wrasse and baby coral beauty.

Do you mean the large hole in the middle? if so that's normal and needed as it is where the clam sucks in water, you'll find another exhalent hole the other end of the mantle.

In terms of health it looks ok. The mantle is nice and extended and it doesn't look to be gaping but throw a pic up in the clam section and you'll get expert opinion.
