is it safe to use a reef ready stand with a standard tank?

Title says it all, my tank is a standard 40b and I'm looking to purchase a stand that has a cut outs for plumbing on where the tank sits

I think as long as the trim of the tank is supported all the way around you will be fine. If the cut-outs do not interfere with the contact b/w the trim and the stand there should be no problem

As mentioned, if the tank has trim, the trim just has to be supported all the way around. If that is still the case, which I imagine it would be, you are good to go. It any part of the trim is not supported, that is an issue.
