View Full Version : Is anyone else excited about the Maxpect Riptide?

I can not wait to try one of these out. If the motor is made reversible you could use it to simulate tidal movement along with a lunar led program.

Im waiting for one, should not be any longer. I heared those who signed up will have a chance to purchase right before macna, everyone else after macna. Either way macna is exactly a month away.

So far im really impressed by the videos

They definitely look interesting. I will also wait for reviews for before deciding on pumps for my new aquarium build this winter. I could see that pump also moving around a lot of sand with its design so it will be interesting to see how it functions in a tank full of live rock and sand. But it is a really neat and innovative idea for water circulation.

I am planning on getting one for my new tank, assuming the price isn't too ridiculous. I have a Tunze setup, just in case the Riptide isn't all it's cracked up to be, but from the videos it looks pretty sweet.
