What u guys tell the capacity of a skimmer from? Lets talk about this. From what i know, key factors are such : bubble quantity, bubble quality , watr intake?

Just now i got a BM NAC6 skimmer with its pump upgraded. I found the bubbles number is increased however the water output has dropped. I dont know the water intake volume but should it be the same as water output?

If the above assumption is positive, should i say: the skimmer efficiency has increased however its capacity still maybe the same? Hope u can guys understand my question.

I'm not going to give you a direct answer because I fear a true explanation may be out of my league so to speak, but I will direct you to this good write-up about skimmers:

More intake means less water volume processed.
