What kind of super glue/gel can i get at a local store that is reef safe?

any kind you buy. I like the gel in the little tubes in multi packs from the dollar store.

I use locktite gel and it works great.

ecotech has "coral glue" available... works good... I use it for other things too... super glue gel basically.

I think ill just order brs reef glue, worked really well for me lastime. Did pick some up from hd and it was a super gel but it seemed real runny.

Anything as long as it is 100% cyanoacrylate. I used the thick glue from the hobby stores for years as it was the cheapest I could find, now I just trade coral frags for it at the local reef store. the hobby stuff was not as gel-like as what you get from BRS. I think the more liquid versions actually work better for glueing frags to plugs and under water, but can be messier......

I keep a few tubes of the thick dollar store stuff around for when I run out in a pinch, they are sealed metal tubes so they keep darn near forever, but you really only get one use out of them as they never seal back up well. The BRS or other plastic bottle stuff can dry out on you if the lids didn't get screwed on just right when it was repackaged from bulk into those little 1 or 2 oz dispenser bottles......

I found a tube of thick gel superglue at HD that worked fine for me
