Anyone have any experience with theses little beauties? Do they keep there color? I really want to get one the only place that seems to get them is PIA and after shipping its 120.00 fish. If it keeps its color then Im good with that but if its just going to fade to yellow over time then I'll just pick up a 30 lemon peel from the LFS. This happened to me on 2 Orange Tail Emperor Angels. Paid big bucks for them but over time just ended up with a yellow tail.

Great looking fish, but the worst of the Centropygies when it comes to nipping corals in my experience.

Im not too worried about coral nipping. I have very little coral in my tank. A few zoas, shrooms and that's about it.

There was an orang peel on DD last week that didn't look particularly orange to me. Frankly, absent somebody with longer-term experience, I'd assume that you'll end up with a lemonpeel.

Ya I saw that one too, I felt the same way, looked like a lemon peel to me, the last couple that PIA have been the same way but they have had some really orange colored ones too.

Cool, good to know, I think the ones with the blue and black spots are juveniles. Not for sure but the ones I have seen with the spots are very small.

As long as you don't pay a big premium for orange, the regular lemonpeel is a stunning fish too

DD's was 50 plus shipping was gonna be like 75 I didn't that was too bad but it really didn't look that orange. Ya if I don't find one soon I'll settle for a lemon peel they are beautiful too.
