5 days and water is not clear. 55 gal RODI water Mag 12 pump
have used RC 5 years never happened before. is it safe to use:crazy1:

Stop stirring, let it settle, measure the alk, and if it is OK, the mix is likely good to go, unless you mistakenly added something undesirable into it. :)

+1 you need to let it settle. Also is the watter warm? it will take longer to dilute if cold

just looked and it has cleared up but has a white film on top. I'll remove that with cheese cloth and use it. Five days is a long time. Thanks, Bubba

Ive found mixing in cold water helps prevent clouding also i started doing my mixing with a diatom filter to remove that brown residue

Calcium carbonate is less soluble as the temperature rises, that is why in reef tanks it precipitates on heaters, pumps, etc. :)
