For months I noticed small worm like projections from my live rock. I used a dropper and sucked up this creature! Many many long long tentacles and a shrimp like body!

No eggs. It's a creature. How long and how many tentacles do "spaghetti worms" have? They are bad right? I never saw the body , only the tentacles for months. I think it killed some polyps

Spaghetti worm, I've always heard they were fine. Just filter feeders.

I've never seen them cause a problem.

They are beneficial detrivores.

But they bothered my paly enough to kill it. I think these worms are better in the sand. They seem to cause havoc when they are growing from the rock where the palys are. They seem to Be more than just one. I'm not putting this one back in. I heard they need to be controlled or these things take over.

I have a ton in my tank which is mostly rock, #130 LR in a 40 breeder and mostly zoas and palys. I've never had issues.
Is it possible the palys died from something elsehttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/25/da4eja6e.jpg
A couple around my green people eaters.
