powder brown tang help

Got up this morning to find my powder brown like this, eating well acting normal but not looking good

Looks like velvet but I can't say did you add new fish recently without quarantine? Sometimes it could be nothing they do get blotchy.

No new fish, but did add some snails,trochous and nassarius, powder brown was last new fish that was three weeks at least
He was quarantined for two weeks prior with no problems, treatment for velvet??

Velvet needs to be treated in a QT/HT with copper, possibly CP. Read the stickies for velvet info.

I can't tell from the pic; but a fish eating and acting rarely has velvet. Two weeks time in a QT is not nearly enough time to catch all of the diseases and parasites that can wipe out your DT.
As Scuzy said, these fish do get "blotchy" and I think it will be fine; but that's best guess based on limited info.
