At least it seems to be some type of macro algae. After taking this I picked it out with tweezers but it grows quickly and quite invasively....anyone take a shot?

The next time you pull some of that algae out, put it in a small tupperware container full of water and take a picture of it. It's too hard to identify from the picture above.

The stuff behind the SPS? Dictyota.

it does looks like dictyota, though im completely sure. if it is dictyota, the only sure way to deal with it is to pull out the rock, let it air dry, wash it, then put it back in. do not pull it off in the tank, it will spread. nothing eats it either.

Ok will do ill pick some more out ....
From doing some image searching for dictyota it doesn't appear to be that, based on the leaf shape and structure of the branches

can you take a clearer picture? it could be another type of algae, but just be safe, try to avoid picking it in your system.
