I brought home a hammer coral about a week ago. It has been doing fine in the tank until these last two days. All of the heads are doing good but one. I mean one of the heads has already split. This one head though I have seen expel waste or "puke" as they say. First time I saw this he shriveled up and then before the lights went out he was full again. Same thing happened today. But again he was full again but this time his mouth is still open. I'll put a picture below. Anyone have any ideas why one head is having issues?

The pic wasn't showing up on my tapa talk app so I am loading it through photo bucket this time. Just in case someone else was having the same issue.

i think its ok, they act weird from time to time. just keep an eye one it, if it starts to lose flesh then frag the head off and toss it.

I recently got a torch and they do this relatively often it's either because they have eaten or their are expelling zooxanthellae because of lighting change not sure which but either way each head has done and they are better than ever.
