using gels to take better cell phone pics!

i recently came across a thread on another forum about using red colored camera gels put over your cell phone's camera to filter out those excessive blues that show up on your phone. i ended up getting a large variety of samples to test out if this works and it does!. anyone else tried this before? i think its pretty cool.

No put the have an amber camera filter in sporting goods or clearance at walmart that works wonders it's like 3 bucks.

Where did you get yours? I ordered some off eBay but I haven't had good results with them.

I have them. I got mine from another reefer from another forum. He may be here not sure. Search the user name Mike C. He's from long island new york. I paid like $3 for mine.

Maybe future phone cameras will have features to adjust white balance. Maybe some Android phones already do this?

Looks pretty good! Were these taken under LED's? How true is the color in the photo taken w/ the gel?

I have note 3 it has preset white balance but none that do any good.

colors almost exact, might be a little less blue then in real life but still pretty cool :)
