Picked up a 90 last wk & I want to drill the back glass (two holes, drain on each side of tank & only use a strainer). First question is how far down from the top do I drill? I need a 1 3/4" hole for a 1" bulkhead correct? If I have two 1" bulkheads going to the sump, how many gph is that so i can match the return? Also, with the return, Id like to but a T & ball valve to direct some flow to a refugium.

Id like to keep the system as quite as possible. Thank you in advance!

Search Bean Animal and read read read. The hole should be at least a complete hole size from the edge of the glass.

This is a link to a thread here that answers a lot of your questions. (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1541946)

Here is a nice calculator found on the home page of this site to help with flow rate.

Wow that thing looks crazy. Guess a normal strainer is no good than.
