African Hornets

Can anyone tell me if African Hornets look anything like the True Blue Hornets?

If you have a picture of them I would love to see them.

I am thinking about getting a frag of African Blue Hornets and would love any info good or bad you can provide.

african hornets or fake blue hornets look just like the blues do but they have green skirts while the blue hornet has an alternating skirts of green and purple/blue and are solid colored, also the blue has a white oval halo around the mouth , and the african or fake hornet often does not:) fake hornets also are a bit smaller than the true blue hornet is in size:)


both are very hardy and fast growers:)

Here, I have both and you can see the difference, the Blue Hornets are much nicer IMO. It's not a very good pic because I just grabbed a quick one for you now:

I think this pic is upside down but I have a frag of these African Hornets is what mine look like. I only have a couple polyps but this is the main colony they came from
