I'm sure I know what I'm going to find out, but just double checking. I have a light green algae starting to grow on my rocks. I tried to get pictures but they didn't turn out too good. It is a light lime green in color. Right now it looks like carpet on my rocks but I'm sure it's just in the early stages. I'm wanting to know if this is the start of hair algae or if it's something different and what I can do to combat whatever it is. I have a couple of blenny's a goby, several hermit crabs, 2 sally light's and 3 SMALL green emerald (although haven't seen them in a while). It's a 125 gallon with 40 gallon sump. Water test show about 10ppm on nitrate, 0ppm on ammonia and nitrites. Phosphates are starting to show on test but very minimal. Tanks has been running since June 1.

Yeah M0nkie is right if its hard and not easy to remove then its coraline it usually comes in green first. This is natural for a new tank and your rock will change color more than a few times.
