my clown fish are hosting my anemone do I need to still feed it thanks

Your nem looks very bleached. So yes I would keep feeding it until it regains its color. From the photo its hard to tell what type of nem it is. Is it a BTA?

That nem does not look to healthy. How long have you had it?

If it's a BTA I would never feed it. If it's bleached from either being to hot or too cold there's about a 70% - 80% chance it will recover. If it's bleached from not enough light it's closer to 100%

Sorry to get off topic but why wouldn't you feed your bta? I haven't feed mine yet but I had planned on it.

about 3 weeks and it was hiding under my rock and is just now coming out I was asking because I read when a clown fish is hosting it it no need to feed it

Sorry to get off topic but why wouldn't you feed your bta? I haven't feed mine yet but I had planned on it.

Because BTA split like crazy if you feed them. They can take over a tank pretty fast and they sting other coral when they decide to move.

how do I tell if it is to much light or to little light
I have 3 250 Watts mh bulbs
and to t5 antic

The anemone will move up or down to the spot where it likes the light the best.
