How do I cycle a saltwater live-reef aquarium?

Hey guys,
How would I go aboit cycling a saltwater live-reef aquarium?
I have a good amount of experience with freshwater aquariums and cycling them?
Is the cycling process of a saltwater live-reef aquarium different from cycling a freshwater aquarium?
If so, how is it different and how do I cycle a saltwater live-reef aquarium?

if you buy liverock from a shop and put it in your tank with a raw cocktail shrimp and monitor ammonia, nitrate, and nitrate much like a freshwater cycle.
