So you think you would really like to own a tank controller!!!?
I went to download the latest firmware version yesterday like I did two other times without a problem and down went to tank!:mad2:
Everything shut down and nothing I tried could get it up and running.
VERY frustrating!:hammer:
I have a "ticket" in to Neptune and I'm hoping within the next several days they will have me back up and running. It's back to the old fashioned power strips for me for a while.:D
Not a happy camper here.

I did backup the previous version but it would not let me do a restore.
Then of course I started "trying" this, that and everything else and I think the only thing I did was dig my hole deeper!
A computer geek I am not!!

They are generally pretty quick to help, especially on the apex forum here on RC.
Make sure you check your router. Usually if mine gets messed up, thats where the problem is, not the apex.
Good luck, I suck at computers too so I know how you feel.
My (at the time) main reason for getting the apex was the alarms but I still have not figured that out yet, a year or so later.

Did you have all your connections wired as opposed to going through wifi?
I recently had this happen to me as well when my return pump shorted out. My only solution was to do a factory reset from the display unit. I have to say, I'm happy to be able to start from scratch with all the knowledge i have now.
For a factory reset, you need to have the display unit working, but its:
System -> Init Memory -> All
You could also try removing all the aquabus cables, and adding them back in like you were setting up for the first time. And wait for a solid green light after every module before going forward

Collin, going to try your suggestion.
Thanks man!
Still waiting for response from Neptune. I'm sure I'm on a fairly long waiting list.
Alarms??? Got a way to go before they're up and running!!
