I have a baby Mombasa lion-fish sitting in a 20g quarantine tank by himself. He is eating frozen silversides and squid. I used krill to train him onto frozen but I switch away from it as soon as possible with all my lions.

The ammonia, nitrate and nitrites are all 0 as the filtration is extremely overpowered for the tank he is in. As well as weekly water changes since new fish are always the hardest and need the best possible conditions to do well. Temp is 78, there is no live rock or substrate as this is also my hospital tank.

I have only had him a 2 weeks now and for 5 days he has been unable to move his tail or control his swim bladder. Pectoral fins and forward are all fine and he doesn't have any fin rot or other outwardly visible signs. He has attempted to eat but he can't do it very well in his current state.

Dose anyone have a clue what is wrong I've never had a fish be this bad without either dieing or getting better quite quickly. Where as his condition is unchanged.
