I brought home a flowerpot coral today from my lfs. It looked very healthy in the store but closed up during removal from the tank and has stayed that way since i acclimated and put it in my tank. Should I be worried? I know other corals will be retracted for a few days after placement.

They are touchy, give it a day or two to get used to the changes.

I've had two where they would never extend their polyps fully in my system, when they were fine at the LFS. Eventually they withered away, IMO very very picky coral and if I get another it will be an ORA specimen.

Good luck with yours!

My ORA red goni took a month after shipping to fully extend but did a little more every day after recieving.
