It looks like a pretty good light for the price. I was wondering if anyone has any experience seeing one in person.

I have the same light but bought it directly from the manufacturer in china for $170 less for the 90cm model.
Its called the SL-A001-30 60 or 90

So far I've been very happy with it. Lots of control over the LEDs and color and it has LEDs spread over the entire fixture to give a wider spread.

By comparison the Razor is 27" and the first LED puck is about 4-5" away from the edge. So It really is only a 18" fixture for $500+

How long have you owned it? Seeing growth? What do you mean by lots of control over the less and color?

I've only had this light, all my previous growth and color was from a chinese light that just had blue and white leds that wasn't even dimmable. So still way to early to tell how it will do, but coming from such a limited light I don't see why it can't do better.

This light has 4 channels - blue, white, pruple/red/blue, and cyan. As well as 9 set points for the day. Gives you quite a few options for choosing the exact color blend you like throughout the day.

Very nice, looks familiar like a nano reef tank of the month maybe?

Thanks for the info. I went to the manufacturers site and the light looks pretty nice. How did you order directly from them?

Hmm, looks like an interesting light. I will need something for my frag tank and may consider this.

Bump for how to order directly from the manufacturer. Any cheaper than fish-street?

Send an email and ask for a "sample" light. They like to hear that as it makes it sound like you will become a future distributor or dealer.
