Garbage or still ok?

I bought this new 6 years ago. Used it maybe 6 months before getting out of the hobby. It's been sitting in the basement for 5 years... Throw it away? Or can I use it on my upcoming build? I don't have a problem buying a new one for 170$

If you keep it change out the filters, the resin, and the RO membrane. Compare the cost of that to a new unit and decide if it is worth it.

I would get a new one, in your price range a Spectrapure refurbed 4 stage would be a good pick up
