I don't specifically need this for any current problem, but thinking ahead to several rounds of QT as I start stocking my tank, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to have on hand just in case. The tank will basically be 'reset' every 4-6 weeks with new water and some floss/biomedia which is maturing in the sump. I figure I'm bound to end up with SOME ammonia showing up in my QT eventually, despite frequent small water changes.
Is ammo-lock or something else a good idea? Would it aggravate or suppress any condition that would compromise the health of a fish in QT?
