Which breed of anenome is the hardiest? Carpet/bta? It's going into a 93 cube. I'd love a mag but I'm using led and I don't think the tank is big enough. I had a bta before but I run a turf scrubber and had no skimmer on it, had a spike in phos and it died. I'm in the process of getting a skimmer on tank also so hopefully that won't happen again.

BTAs are easier than carpets. FWIW, LEDs can sufficiently provide the light that anemones need to thrive. Take a look at OrionN's ROTM here (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2430915).

I understand about typical bta/carpets. But not many have had success with mags and led

I am keeping a healthy mag under LED. Depends upon the unit you are using, but LEDs can be more powerful than halides.

I've kept mine under LEDs for years. It has thrived in them.

After losing a couple of different nems I won't touch anything but BTA and may be a Haddoni carpet.

I just took a Cipro treated, bleached Mag and have almost returned him to original color located 15" deep in this case. Yes, only LED.

Reef radiance 2040 (2) about 6" above tank.
