I have a client who's wife wants this fish. The wrasse, not the foxface. This is the picture he gave me. Some kind of Halichoeres perhaps? Can anyone help with an ID? Thanks!

It is a male Halichoeres biocellatus , redline or red xmas wrasse. It is a peaceful, generally reef safe wrasse.

Thanks, guys. Do you think cleaner shrimp would be on this guy's menu?

It should be ok but if possible add it at night when the lights are off. Otherwise it might think its feeding time. 🍴

Usually these guys are pretty good with invert, especially if they are in the tank before the wrasse. If you add shrimp afterwards use the net to guide the shrimp to the rocks.
