Recently upgraded and fish was kept in small tank for 2 days my blue tang has ick all of a sudden. Eating like a pig still. Should I treat the tank it's a reef.

Sorry to say there is no effective treatment you can use in your reef tank. If you wish to treat, you will need to remove all fish from your display tank and treat in a separate hospital tank using either copper, chloroquine phosphate or by tank transfer. Display tank will also need to be left fallow (fishless) for a minimum of 72 days for the parasite to die out in the tank.

So I should take the tang out or wait to see if it goes away?

It will not go away on it's own. Ich may appear to go away as the white spots will drop off but this is just part if the lifecycle. Then when the tomonts hatch they will show up again.
There are many that live with it in their tank but my personal choice is to get rid of it and then keep it out through quarantine.

Is this the only fish in the tank?

Is it showing any other symptoms such as flashing? Can you describe how it looks.

If it is ich, the other fish in the tank will need to be treated as well, even if they are not showing spots.
