Upgrade Radion from Gen 1 to Gen 3

Has anyone upgraded their Radion from a Gen 1/Gen 2 to a Gen 3 or Pro? Was it worth the cash?

I did the upgrade from the gen 1 to the newest gen pro. definitely worth the upgrade. The extra colors and extra power make corals pop even more. I'll get some pics tomorrow when the lights come back on.

Did you send it in or did you buy it new?

Sent it in. I had an extra light to keep the tank going while my radion was being upgraded.

How was the overall process? Looks pretty straight forward. I want to get this done now while I only have GSP..

It's was pretty easy. Just fill out the form along with paying for the upgrade, send the radion with the form and wait for it to return. It took about 2 days for them to work on it and return it to me right away.
