Hey guys, as some of you know i was battling brook in one of my qt tanks and i think i finally succeeded!

HOWEVER, i have a big dilemma and i need to act QUICK

my 40 has my hippo and naso! the hippo had brook in the tank

i did
14days of prazi
3 weeks of copper
(at this point i realized hippo had brook)
10 day metronidazole
4 day .25ppm formalin bath and a few 90% wc with continuous25% daily changes
123-5-7-11 day 250ppm formalin bath for hippo
5 days nfg

and now they are sitting in a bath of nitrofuracin green (the hippo had horrible skin and showed some kind of slime(fungal?) on his tale, after introducing nfg he now look 100x better already and is recovering well

in this whole ordeal the naso never showed any signs of anything, and he is getting stressed in the 40 to the point of hlle getting bad and fast even with a great diet

i want to move him to the dt tank today. should i risk it? again hippo looks better, and naso never showed any signs of anything but he will not last in the 40gallon as he is 6 inches (body) and this is to small for him

its been over 10 weeks in qt...

my display is 5months old, no corals only has 2 clowns and 7 anthias.

needs to go here... he is begging me

starting hlle
now its 10x worst
and worsening

Not sure what the life cycle of brook is exactly but I think it's around 3 weeks?? (Steve will know) if the life cycle has past and fish have been treated like you mentioned above the brook should be gone. I would hate for you to put the Naso in the DT just for him to spread the brook to everyone else

brook is 6 weeks,

how do i calculate that? as of the first day of formalin? last day? or last day of formalin bath?

I treated a flame angel with 3 dips and within 10 days he was showing signs of brook. I then did 5 dips and waited a month after the final formalin dip to be sure the fish was clear of brook. He was fine.
