My tank is newly cycling, bought some live rock and added it today. Was staring at it, and I see this little dude poking out of a crevace.

I've got a couple snails too and maybe some bristle worms. Does that look like aiptasia to you guys? If so what do you think my best bet at this point is?

Thanks

Might be too late for him. Injected some vinegar, he has disappeared, will keep a close watch for it over the next week. Looked too much like aip for my liking.

Done deal, where did you get the LR?

My local shop, Tideline Aquatics. I know chances are it isnt aip, since it was in their tank system for around 3 weeks. I would think It'd be much larger given that time, but I'm not taking any chances.

Here's another guy I just found hiding on the bottom/side of the rock. Looks harmless, yes?

This one looks more like a Hidden cup coral to me. (harmless in most cases)

Ok, I have NO idea what this one is.

I initially thought it was just a bump on the live rock, or a calcified shell or something, but its definitely alive. This morning I saw what looked like a bristleworm crawling into it. I put that little algae chip next to it a few hours ago, and every once in a while the shell opens a little bit. If I shine a light on it it snaps shut.

Edit: in the pic you can actually see the thing I was calling a bristleworm. Its between the shell and the algae wafer.

It's a bivalve. I have a few of them. Not sure if it's a mussel or an oyster of some sort. Filter feeder.

Here's a better picture of the worm thing coming out of it.

Looks like a bristle worm coming out from under the shell.

The first picture appears to have been a Majano Anemone = pest

Good think I pickled him. :) No sign of it since then.

Tank's continuing to do great. Parameters look fantastic. Most of my dry rock is now covered in green Coraline with tons of purple coraline speckles. So far I nuked that aiptasia from the first post (no signs of further aip), murdered a xanthid crab and plucked a whelk snail out of the rock.

Today I noticed this stuff growing on the side of my live rock over some LPS skeletons. Looks like purple/transparent extensions. Not really sure what it could be.
