Hi everyone,

I am upgrading to a 85 gallon reef tank soon and I have 3 scenarios right now for skimmers as I have currently an Aquamaxx Hob-1 on my 26 gallons and is not strong enough for a 85 gallon tank.

-Deltec McE600 used for 270$
-SWC Xtreme hang-on 4 year used with new impeller on Sicce pump for 125$
-New JNS Shark VS1 hang on mew for 280$ tax included combined with my Aquamaxx on the same tank.

Thanks in advance for your inputs!

Needs to be hang-on, is that model hang on?

Yes.. It's their newest hob skimmer. Quite nice actually. It's a 4" round skimmer in a square Aquamaxx hob body. Virtually the co-1 converted to hob status.

Reef Octopus makes some great hang on skimmers.
