We just moved and the chlorine here in the water is pretty high, you can taste it.

I have a 4 stage rodi unit and was wodering if I should change one of the filters or add one for the chlorine.

The tds out of the faucet is 43, still 0 out of DI. Just to be sure.

Absolutely, you actually may need to change 2 of the filters. The stage before the ChlorPlus needs to be GAC, not the regular carbon blocks used in RO systems. 0 TDS out of the DI doesn't mean the chlorine or ammonia is gone, I learned this the hard way.
43 out of your tap is very low, our tap water is in the 300 range!

wish I had TDS of 43 out of the tap....
I had to plumb RO (before the DI stage) to the refrigerators for drinking water and ice. Our pets don't even drink our non RO water...

43 is high for here. My last house the tap was 8. Our mayor actually got made fun of in the press for bringing in bottled water for meetings and things when the water out of the tap was cleaner.

2 places ago the TDS was 4 out of the tap and I just ran DI, no RO at all.

Thanks for the filter recommendations, I'll order tonight.

Chlorine or chloramines? They are different. I believe all city water has chlorine, but only some use chloramines. I think you only need the special filters to remove chloramines.
