I have been doing a lot of reading about bio load and cannot come up with a good answer on what is a heavy bio load on a tank. I have a 125 FOWLR with approx. 175lbs LR in DT and about another 40lbs in a 55 gallon sump. I run a Diablo 225 skimmer, a Panworld pump cranking about 1100gph, 2 MP40's at 75%. I have two sock filters that I clean every day I also clean skimmer everyday and change 15% of water weekly. Here is what I have for livestock in my tank
1-Impetator Angle approx. 5" (not spelled right)
1-Harlequin tusk about 4"
1-Hippo tang 4"
1-Clown Trigger 3"
1-Humma Humma trigger 3"
1-Purple tang 3"
1-Nasao tang 3"
1-Sailfine tang 5"
Would this be considered a high bio load. PH8.1, Cal 450, Sal 1.023 Nitrate and Nitrite are where they are suppose to be.

Yes, that would probably be a high bioload IMO. Tangs, Large Angels, Tuskfish, Triggers are all high bioload fishes.

1-Impetator Angle approx. 5" (not spelled right) Tank is barley big enough I would get rid TBQH.
1-Harlequin tusk about 4" Should be okay.
1-Hippo tang 4" Tank is barely big enough.I would personally not have the hippo.
1-Clown Trigger 3" Will be way to aggressive.
1-Humma Humma trigger 3" Might be okay.
1-Purple tang 3" Fine.
1-Nasao tang 3"To small for a 16 inch naso
1-Sailfine tang 5"Should be okay.

You are overstocked and most of the fish you have are unsuitable

Thanks for the replies. Kind of the answers I was looking for. Been trying to talk my wife into getting a new tank and this kind of put it over the edge. Starting to look for a 300 gallon

You need a 300 gallon.I would still get did of the low. Trigger,it will kill everything I. Your tank once it matures.

Feel free to look for 300 gallon recommendations, everybody would be more the. happy to help you :)

Triggers will not kill everything as long as you feed them properly (at least three times feedings daily). In other words, if you don't feed triggers properly, they get starved and eat other fishes in your tank.

Sorry for all my spelling mistakes, using the iphone.

Clown triggers are an exception.I wouldn't trust them with anything smaller then tangs/butterflyfish and that's really pushing it.

Just my opinion.
