I'm wanting to put a MP40 in my 54 Corner tank, but I would like some feedback first.

I had a MP10 earlier this year, but it was too small and had to be at 100% which made it too loud.

I know the MP40 will be enough flow, my only concern is the lack of adjustability in the flow direction.

I want to use 1 single pump on one of the flat panels, the other flat panel is visible over my 1/2 wall so I want to keep it open.

Thanks,

Steve

Here is a picture of my current setup for reference.

Left flat panel is where I want to mount the MP40, Right flat panel is open over the 1/2 wall for viewing so I want to keep that clean and opn.

Hi Steve,

For the 54G Bow tank, I think both (1) MP40wES or (2) MP10wES pumps would work excellent; the MP40wES will definitely provide more than enough flow for every portion of your tank!

Thanks.

I know it will be enough flow for sure, I'm just curious about the flow direction.

I think I'm going to do it and see, if it doesn't work out I'll sell it.

Thanks.

I tried out the MP40.........it gave plenty of flow, but couldn't cover the entire tank alone.
Traded that for a pair of MP10wES and it's much much better. One on each panel, and the tank has complete flow coverage.
