is my candy cane dying?

it has been doing great from the time i got it in feb, it went from 3 heads to 11 feeders always out at night to shriveled up for the last 24 hrs.

I will try to get a better pic of the base later, if the base is bad would it be a good idea to cut it dip it and reattach it to a diff plug?
